This report discusses issues of accountability of private security companies in the context of countering violent extremism in Kenya. The data is drawn from a review of literature, interviews with key informants, and insights from five workshops that CHRIPS held in five counties: Nairobi; Kilifi; Mombasa; Kwale, and Nakuru.
