aim is to share experiences to encourage thevuptake of body mapping as a method in social sciences research. In the first section, we introduce body mapping as a method: describing our research on violent extremism in Kenya and how body mapping is used . In the final two sections analyzation of textual and visual data from the body maps before reflecting on the value of body mapping as a research method for the study of violent extremism.
